Conservative Republican Candidates

Candidates for municipal office in six Tulsa County municipalities will file Declarations of Candidacy beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, February 6. The filing period will end at 5 p.m. Wednesday, February 8.

Declarations of Candidacy will be accepted at the Tulsa County Election Board located at 555 N. Denver, in Tulsa for the City of Bixby, City of Broken Arrow, City of Glenpool, City of Jenks, City of Owasso, City of Skiatook and the Town of Sperry.

Filing for City of Owasso and City of Sand Springs municipal offices was held December 5–7, 2016. A non-partisan Primary Election will be held for the City of Owasso and the City of Sand Springs on February 14, 2017, followed by a General Election, if necessary, to be held April 4, 2017.

The City of Bixby, City of Broken Arrow, City of Glenpool, City of Jenks, City of Skiatook and the Town of Sperry will hold a General Election only, on April 4, 2017.

The Board of Education positions at stake will be filled at the Annual School Election scheduled February 14, 2017. If no candidate receives more than 50 percent of the total votes cast in the election, the two candidates receiving the highest number of votes will meet in a runoff election on Tuesday, April 4, 2017.

Early voting for the November 8 election will be Thursday, November 3 and Friday November 4 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday November 5 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
